My Little Family

Me. Big A. Bubby. Sissy. Chancho.

Big A

Big A is my husband of 11 years and the love of my life. We met in 7th grade, dated throughout high school and college and got married as soon after graduation as possible. He is my best friend, my rock, my spiritual advisor, my sounding board and so much more. Despite all the ups and downs of marriage, I am still crazy about him.

He works in a dairy lab during the day, and on his used car business at night. I've never met someone who works as hard as he does and asks for nothing in return. But that's him.

     Bubby

Bubby is my firstborn son. He amazes me every single day with his strong-will, intelligence and big heart. He knows me so well that most of the time, he doesn't even have to ask me how I am. He'll offer a hug if he thinks I need it or tell a joke to make me laugh. Bubby enjoys playing video games, setting up racetracks for his matchbox cars and authoring and illustrating books. Bubby accepted Christ as his Savior in August of 2008 and he's learning that walking with God is not always easy, but it's always the BEST way to go.

Sissy

My sweet, sweet little girl. Sissy is the most precious little girl I've ever met and I can't believe God has chosen me as her mom! I feel so blessed. She is so smart and works so hard on everything she does. Sissy cares about all God's creatures, from animals to people, and has such a heart for those who are hurting and suffering. Sissy just asked Jesus into her heart and loves reading the Bible and listening to Chris Tomlin and Taylor Swift. She is also an awesome sister, always taking the time to play with Chancho and teach him new things.

My Chancho

Sometimes I think Chancho deserves a whole blog devoted to himself. He's my baby, the surprise that we never expected. He turned my world upside down (who am I kidding? He CONTINUES to turn my world upside down every single day). He's a force of nature and doesn't ever slow down. And he makes us laugh constantly. I can't even imagine what our family would be like without him. The big kids take care of him like he's their own and Big A and I baby him, despite all our efforts not to. When I think of Chancho, I think of the exclamation point at the end of a sentence. Bold and full of energy, he's the exclamation point that completes our family.
